Material Handler, Owatonna
Rise Modular, LLC is a leading construction technology company that designs, engineers, and manufactures full volumetric modular units for inclusion in multi-family apartment and hospitality development projects. This position is based in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Job Description:
The primary role of this position is to unload, store, and distribute materials in yard of industrial plant from suppliers or production shops to ensure a smooth and consistent operation that supports Rise Modular’s goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures distribution of materials from authorized requisitions to production and to builders.
- Operate semi to pull modular homes from the warehouse, about 5% of the time.
- Expedites the timely shipment to production floor as needed.
- Operates equipment, hand dollies, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all safety rules and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Organizational skills
- Ability to read and analyze Information
- Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Process improvement mindset
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Data entry skills
Preferred skills and experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- 1-3 years previous experience
